Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-28
AinnoBox (“we”, “our”, “us”) is operated by Ainnotech Pty Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we handle when you use the AinnoBox website and tools at ainnobox.com. AinnoBox is built on a privacy-first principle: your files are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to our servers.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not receive, store, or have access to:
- The content of any PDF, image, or other file you process with our tools.
- Personal data extracted from those files (text, metadata, faces, locations, etc.).
- Account credentials — AinnoBox does not require sign-up.
All file processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. The files never leave your device.
2. Information we do process
The following limited information may be processed when you visit the site:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) records standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp, requested URL) for a short retention period to operate the service and prevent abuse.
- Privacy-friendly analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without using cookies or collecting personal data.
- Advertising (only with consent). If you accept the cookie banner, Google AdSense may set cookies and serve personalised ads. EU/UK/CH visitors are shown the banner by default; ads are disabled until consent is granted.
- Local storage. Your tool preferences (language, theme, file queue, consent state) are kept in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device.
3. Cookies
AinnoBox itself sets only essential local-storage entries needed for the site to work. Third-party cookies are only set after you actively accept them via the consent banner, and only by Google AdSense for ad personalisation and frequency capping.
4. Third-party services
- Cloudflare Pages — static hosting and CDN. See Cloudflare Privacy.
- Google AdSense — advertising network (consent-gated). See Google Ads Policy. You can opt out of personalised ads at Google Ad Settings.
- Plausible Analytics — cookieless aggregate analytics. See Plausible Data Policy.
5. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data through the tools, there is little personal data to access. For analytics or ad-related data held by our processors, you can:
- Withdraw cookie consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
- Exercise GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA rights (access, deletion, objection, portability) by emailing us at contact-us@ainnotech.com.au.
- Opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ad Settingsor your browser’s Do Not Track signal.
6. Children’s privacy
AinnoBox is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EU/UK). We do not knowingly process personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through our site, please contact us and we will remove it.
7. Data security
Files never leave your device, which is the strongest privacy guarantee we can offer. The site is served over HTTPS and uses a strict Content Security Policy. Local storage entries are scoped to ainnobox.com.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 14 days.
